"Timothy, you did a great job protecting our country and for this we thank you for your ultimate sacrifice. Until we meet good friend look after your family from above and brethren in the skies in and around Iraq. Lisa, please move forward with your life and as you know Tim would have wanted you to do. My sincere appology goes out to your beloved wife who answered an email I sent you to catch up on old times, having not heard the terrible news she was the first to break it to me. Your face and memories are forever burned into my mind. I have fond memories of all of us at Rucker standing for our cheesy class photo in front of the Blackhawk back during election time where you and I made fun of the one Democrat in the class all standing alone by himself while we held Bush/Chaney signs. Sadly loosing you was an ever reminder of how dangerous our job is and it drove me to be ultra-safe in the preparation and execution of my dutis as an instructor when I arrived in Kuwait. Not a day went by when it was finally my turn to deploy to Iraq and I was overseas that I didnt think about you. "Tim, although we didnt have the chance to get to know one another very well during the UH60 Instructor Pilots course I feel honored to have known you my friend. "Don't Let The Memory Of Them Drift Away" I cannot and will not let our fallen heroes be forgotten. Timothy gave the ultimate sacrifice and will be held in the hearts of Americans forever. "”Honor and Remember” - “Project Compassion” We love our Soldiers! We love our country and we cannot express enough love and compassion to the families of our fallen heroes. I will forever miss him and I will never forget him."" You knew how wonderful he was, thankyou for sharing him with the rest of us. My heart goes out to Lisa and the kids, Tim's parents and the rest of his family. Please know that Tim was an example for so many.someone who we all wish that we could have been like, if even a little bit. While many people would like to believe they possess that ability, it is indeed a rarity, one which I have never since witnessed. When other's chose to walk an easier path, Tim stood by his convictions and allegiances to people and his career. This was a man who truly was a friend to all and a soldier to our country. Shock, disbelief, immense and incredible sadness filled everyone's hearts, for this was no ordinary man. We realized Tim wouldn't be returning from the flight. We all stood there, staring at each other in utter silence. The world lost a very special person that night in February. I knew Tim as the kind of person that every parent wishes were their kid, every wife wishes for this kind of husband, and every person wishes for this kind of friend. What a wonderful person, a beautiful heart, and a truly devoted man. I simply have no knowledge of words that would describe who and what Tim was for so many people. "I wrote the following a very long time ago. "Just loving the family of Timothy and sharing their memories today as I read those who posted notes in the past."
